Carded Star Wars Figures in the attic

While climbing around in my attic on the weekend, amidst all the discarded Christmas decorations and dead spiders (at least, I hope they were dead) I came across a box of what can only be described as ’solid gold’.

Well, when I say solid gold, obviously I’m not talking literal. It was actually a box of carded Star Wars Figures, never opened or touched by human hand. So you see, the simile to solid gold was a good one? Inside this box were dozens of cherished Star Wars figures from the late 1990’s when the films were reissued, including Sandtroopers, Stormtroopers and even Princess Leia in the metal bikini.

Yes!

This has certainly found me back in the Star Wars mood and has me casting my eye over some of the prequel toys available this Christmas, and even some of the re-re-re-reissue toys that George Lucas felt wallet-bound to bring out once again.
