Original Star Wars figures

I’ve blogged about the collectible nature of original Star Wars figures before and how the famed last 17 were the most valuable of the original releases. This weekend while clearing out my old house I found a huge box of Star Wars figures and costume packs from the prequels, all sealed on their cards. There must have been over 30 sealed figures in there, nicely packaged and ready for eBay.

I seem to remember paying around 99p for many of them at the end of the Star Wars run too, so I’m looking forward to cashing them in on on eBay this week.

I’ll be sure to let everyone know how much they go for so we’ll know if buying new Star Wars figures really is an investment or not.
